Ski Areas
Programs that develop, maintain and make available to the public, designated winter recreational areas that have snow-covered slopes of varying degrees of difficulty for people who want to ski. Many ski areas also have specific runs to accommodate snowboarding. Amenities may include ski lifts and tows, professional instruction, equipment rental services, cabins or other accommodations for overnight stays, and a ski lodge with fireplace-equipped common rooms for socializing as well as bar and restaurant facilities.
