Alcohol Use Disorder Day Treatment
Programs that provide supervised, structured, full-day daytime activities which may include individual and group counselling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, a program for family members, relapse prevention services and a continuing care program for individuals who have an alcohol use disorder, need treatment that is more intensive than an outpatient program but do not require 24-hour hospital care, and are currently sober. Most participants attend day treatment programs eight hours per day Monday through Friday with part-day sessions on the weekends (though some programs are available as little as five hours per day or as long as 12 hours per day).
Drug Use Disorder Day Treatment
